THE CONSERVATION STUDIO
offers a conservation and restoration service for easel paintings, structural paintings
and historic decoration. With over 40 years’ combined experience, gained in the UK
and abroad, we can evaluate and correct a wide range of conservation problems.
At The Conservation Studio,traditional techniques are combined with modern methods
and materials to provide the optimum treatment for each workof art.
As well as remedial treatment of paintings, both in the studio and on-site, we also
provide consultation, collections surveys, condition reports, analysis and advice
on preventative conservation.
EASEL PAINTINGS
We offer a complete range of conservation services and treatments for oil paintings on
canvas, wood and metal, from a miniature to a panoramic landscape.
Each painting is assessed and its condition evaluated before a treatment programme
